Sustain yourself as a leader
Protect your time, your energy, and your sense of purpose in a role that asks so much of you.
Executive and leadership coaching
I've led where you lead. For 26 years I helped lead a private Jewish day school, and now I bring that insider's view to leaders like you.
Whether you lead a school, a camp, or a growing organization, you deserve a steady, experienced partner for the decisions and conversations that matter most.
I work with school and camp leaders, nonprofit and business leaders, and early career professionals.
How I can help
From the vision you share with your faculty to the community you build, I help you lead with your school's mission at the center.
Protect your time, your energy, and your sense of purpose in a role that asks so much of you.
Step confidently into a new headship, expand your role, or prepare your own successor for a mission aligned handoff.
Turn high stakes moments with faculty, staff, parents, and board members into productive dialogue that protects relationships and keeps your school moving forward.
Help your team lead well through the rhythms of the school year, board oversight, and the community pressures unique to schools.
Create a culture of care where every child feels known and families know they have a trusted partner when challenges arise.
Make sure every budget call, staffing choice, and program change stays true to what your school stands for.
Beyond schools
Good leadership looks much the same in a school or a growing company: clear decisions, honest conversations, and a team that pulls in the same direction.
I work with CEOs and owners one on one or in small groups, and with the managers who bring their vision to life, so the growth that starts at the top reaches every corner of the business.
Start a conversationA warm, trusting space to be honest about what is hard, step back from the daily rush, and think through your toughest calls with clarity.
For managers making the shift from doing the work to leading people, with sharper skills in delegation, feedback, and accountability.
Shared priorities and clearer communication between the CEO and the management team, so decisions are understood, owned, and carried out.
Guidance as the business grows, roles shift, and new challenges arrive, while building a culture where good people want to stay.
At its heart, coaching is a relationship built to last.
It starts with you: your challenges, your goals, your instincts as a leader. From there it grows outward. I walk alongside you as you think through the decisions shaping your school, camp, or business, so the choices you make hold up for you and for the people who depend on you.
What this partnership delivers
Every leader's context is different. Before we tackle anything, I take time to understand your organization, your people, and what's really at stake, so the path we find fits the place you lead.
Through honest reflection and thoughtful questions, you gain a clearer view of your strengths, your blind spots, and the kind of leader you want to become.
Whether it's a hard conversation with a board member or a decision about a struggling program, talking it through together leads to sharper, wiser decisions.
When we address a challenge at its source, you gain more than a solution. You gain understanding that stays with you, ready to draw on in future situations.
Insight is only the beginning. Each session ends with a concrete step you can take into your week, so reflection turns into real progress.
As you grow more sure of yourself, that confidence reaches your team, the people you serve, and your wider community, and it keeps growing long after our work together ends.
Coaching isn't about me telling you what to do. You are the expert on your community and the people in it. My role is to help you find and trust the wisdom you already have, and to put it to work.

I'm Elisha Andron, an ICF certified executive and leadership coach based in Westchester County, New York. For 26 years I served in senior leadership at The Leffell School, formerly Schechter Westchester, with work spanning student services, strategic planning, and school administration.
Those years showed me up close what school leaders shoulder each day, and they shape how I coach today: warmly, practically, and always with your community in view.
Former K-12 Director of Student Services and member of senior administration at a leading day school, working side by side with the head of school, associate head, and divisional principals on the challenges that come with running a school.
Certified Executive and Leadership Development Coach and Certified Leadership Engagement and Impact Coach through The Academies, grounded in neuroscience and built on decades of school leadership.
An MS in Counseling and Personnel Services from Fordham University and an MA in Jewish Education from The Jewish Theological Seminary, a combination that lets me address both the organizational and the human sides of leadership.
Co-leads a career coaching program with DataKey Consulting, bringing the same approach to the next generation of leaders.
In 2000, I joined Solomon Schechter School of Westchester, now The Leffell School, to help design its brand new high school. I helped build it from its first plans into a thriving community, and in the years that followed my work grew to serve the entire school, from kindergarten through twelfth grade.
As director of student life, I recruited the high school's very first class of 57, one far larger than anyone expected. From there I helped create many of the school's firsts, including its experiential education program, clubs, holiday programming, grade level trips, and an advisory program that turned teachers into mentors, all while getting to know individual students and their families.
As K-12 Director of Student Services, I brought student support personnel from all three divisions, including deans, psychologists, and learning specialists, together into one team. As a member of the senior administration, I worked closely with the head of school, associate head, and divisional principals, helping guide the school's strategic direction and serving as a sounding board for fellow senior leaders. In every conversation, I made sure students and families stayed at the heart of our decisions and that we remained faithful to the school's mission.
Hired a year before it opened to help turn a bold dream into reality, shaping its programs, its people, and its culture.
Shared the school's mission with prospective families and built trusting relationships that carried them from their first visit through graduation.
Built the middle and high school dean program and student support systems, and strengthened support in the lower school, all grounded in thoughtful counseling and Jewish values, so every student felt seen and included.
Helped create programs like Lev v'Nefesh, an eight week experiential journey through Poland and Israel, along with grade level trips, Shabbatonim, WISE (Wise Individualized Senior Experience), and substance abuse prevention, treating academic, social, emotional, and Jewish growth as one.
Training and mentoring deans, psychologists, learning specialists, college counselors, and admissions directors, while recruiting strong faculty and coaching members of the senior leadership team.
Helping leadership teams pause to ask why, not just how, so decisions stayed anchored in values and in care for every child.
I know the rhythm of a school year, the weight of a hard conversation with a family, and what it takes to bring faculty and administrators along through change. When we work together, you're talking with someone who has sat in those meetings and lived with those decisions.
